For a good harvest, we follow the principles of gardening which we learn from staying close to the Lord. John 15:3 John 15:5  The more we plant, the more we harvest.2 Corinthians 9:6 We do not plant when a strong wind is blowing, or we might just reap a whirlwind. Luke 8:14 We watch closely lest an enemy plant weeds.Matthew 13:27-28

We are dependent upon the Lord for water. He sends the rain,Hosea 6:3 Joel 2:23 and, to the compassionate, He  provides an ever bubbling spring with miracle water that causes all it touches to flourish.Isaiah 58:10-11

Pest control is a major concern, but when we turn to the Lord for help, Joel 2:12 He will repair the damage.Joel 2:25 26 When our plants seem unproductive Luke 13:6-7 the Lord encourages us to be patient , shows us how to loosen the soil and how to fertilize them generously. *Help Appreciated: The analogy, "Earth is a Garden" is still in the making. I am having loads of fun adding new thoughts as I discover them. There are many facets of gardening that do not immediately come to mind. You may think of some I have missed. Feel free to email me. My name is Beverly. My address is my name @forwardmoving.com. Eager to hear.
A Hymn:
I Come to the Garden
I come to the garden alone
While the dew is still on the roses
And the voice I hear falling on my ear
The Son of God discloses.
Refrain
     And He walks with me,

     And He talks with me,
     And He tells me I am His own;
     And the joy we share
as we tarry there,
     None other has ever known.

He speaks, and the sound of His voice,
Is so sweet the birds hush their singing,
And the melody that He gave to me
Within my heart is ringing.
Refrain

I’d stay in the garden with Him
Though the night around me be falling,
But He bids me go; through the voice of woe
His voice to me is calling.
Refrain

My Garden Grow.

May 27, 2913: I call this contraption a bunny (and crow) out fence. We love to share with those in need, but the deer, racoons, skunks, bunnies, crows and squirrels have enough in the woods behind us and are not in need!

By the end of the summer we expect to harvest kale, eggplant, cabbage, lettuce, cilantro, parsley, basil, cayenne pepper, green pepper, and yellow pepper.

This garden is a joint effort of myself, my dear husband, and our loving Father God, our Creator/Sustainer.
